Our Toronto Weekender

We enjoyed a weekend in Toronto on October 20-22.

We took advantage of staying with Elva's sister and her husband in Toronto, Jack & Orla Fox.

On Sunday we drove out to the community of Brooklyn, just outside Whitby where Elva's niece and her husband live, Graeme & Karen Illman and their three kids. We attended the Sunday morning service where Graeme is the pastor of a Presbyterian church.

It was a summer-like weekend and in the afternoon we enjoyed the scenery in the country.

Thanksgiving Day 2007

We had unbelievably hot and humid weather this Thanksgiving Monday.

That was great for our tradition of picking applesat an orchard then going for a hike before enjoying a tasty chicken meal.

We had a hayride to the apples on the Wells farm and also went through their corn maze.

Brian and Grace and her husband Shane Leonard spent the day with us.

We enjoyed God's color display all around us.
